Commercial passenger airlines impose temperature restrictions for the welfare
of your traveling or moving family pet. While this means you may experience
personal inconveniences due to seasonal embargoes or restrictions it also
ensures that your pet's safety, health, and welfare are not adversely affected.
(Note to those traveling into or out of hot, southwest city such as Las Vegas:
In many cases, bringing live animals by air into these cities is severely
restricted or completely unavailable in the summertime months. We can arrange
for ground transportation to or from Southern California airports so that
relocation of your pet may still be possible during this time.)

Corporations often provide a moving allowance or offer to reimburse expenses
incurred with a job-related move including those for relocating your pets. But
if that doesn't apply in your case take heart at least moving expenses are
tax-deductible!

The independent International Pet and Animal Transportation Association (IPATA)
was formed in 1979 by representatives of major pet and animal transport firms
as a trade association of pet care professionals networking to provide one of
the most complete and safe pet relocation networks throughout the world.

Member firms transfer pets from one location to another and are professionals
experienced in handling the many details and/or potential problems incidental
to such transfers (particularly those concerning humane treatment,
documentation, and proper preparation of animals for transit).

IPATA pet shippers are registered with the UlS. Department of Agriculture (or
their international equivalent), and adhere to the rules and regulations of the
Animal Welfare Act and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Live
Animal Regulations as they relate to the care and transport of the family pet.
